Roseate Spoonbills and Friends

Description

These beautiful creatures are often mistaken for Flamingos. Roseate Spoonbills are locals in Southern Florida, coastal Texas, and Southwestern Louisiana. They usually live in marsh-like areas, wetlands, and mangroves. These flamboyant birds have bright pink feathers, red eyes, partly bald heads, and giant spoon-shaped bills.
