Texas Tire Toads

These adorable toads would come back year after year, pilling in on top of each other while living at the base of our old tetherball cemented tire. In some seasons, we would have up to five toads living together. Yes, we would all worry that they could get stuck down there, but I am happy to report that this never happened. Unfortunately, we haven't seen them this year due to the extreme heat and drought conditions. We miss our beloved and faithful Amphibian friends ... our Tire Toads.
